In celebration of Women’s Day, FemTech India is spotlighting female trailblazers who are revolutionizing the industry. One such leader is Juliet Oliver, Founder & CEO of Endo45 and an EndoFit Expert, whose personal journey with endometriosis led her to create groundbreaking solutions for those suffering from the condition.

Juliet Oliver’s career began in engineering, where she led award-winning innovation projects in the energy sector. She was recognized as the Young Energy Professional of the Year for her pioneering work in energy optimization and high-performing team development. Despite her professional success, she battled stage 4 endometriosis, which became a catalyst for her transition into FemTech. Inspired by her ability to reverse-engineer complex systems, she applied the same mindset to understanding her own health. This realization led her to establish Endo45, with a mission to bridge the ‘Endo Care Gap’ and empower sufferers to reclaim their lives.

Juliet’s entry into FemTech was driven by necessity rather than strategy. Frustrated by years of misdiagnosis and ineffective treatments, she sought to create solutions not just for herself but for millions of others experiencing the same struggles. While the industry is supportive and purpose-driven, it remains underfunded and undervalued. Navigating these challenges while bootstrapping Endo45 required resilience and a steadfast belief in the mission.

“My journey into FemTech wasn’t a career move—it was a necessity. Years of misdiagnosis and dismissal fueled my mission to create real solutions for endometriosis.”

Her journey to launching Endo45 spanned six years of research, self-experimentation, and refining health strategies. From ideation to the app’s launch took another two years. The greatest challenge was balancing health, motherhood, and building a startup with limited resources. A significant hurdle in FemTech is achieving global reach with minimal funding. While there is industry recognition of the need for endometriosis solutions, gaining broader market traction remains difficult. Strategic leadership and advocacy are essential to accelerating impact and driving change.

Among her biggest achievements, Endo45 was awarded Best Health Condition App 2024 by Prevention Australia. Seeing her startup featured in Times Square, New York, was a surreal moment. On a personal level, achieving remission from endometriosis using the EndoFit protocol that powers Endo45 stands as her most meaningful success. It validated the real-world effectiveness of her approach and provided tangible proof of the app’s transformative impact.

Endo45 is an all-in-one, evidence-backed app designed to support individuals managing endometriosis, adenomyosis, and chronic pelvic pain. It offers personalized roadmaps through the EndoFit™ Score, symptom and habit tracking, expert-backed strategies, and tools for building sustainable, endo-fighting habits. The platform addresses the gaps in traditional healthcare by providing immediate, actionable support tailored to users’ needs.

Currently, the team is expanding the app’s AI capabilities to deliver even more personalized support. They are also developing dedicated modules for menopause and fertility, recognizing their overlap with endometriosis. Strategic partnerships with health organizations are in progress, with efforts to expand into India and the UK to support underserved communities.

The FemTech movement is critical because it advocates for women’s health, which has long been under-researched and underfunded. Beyond technology, FemTech represents education, advocacy, and systemic change. Juliet’s mission aligns with this vision, striving to empower endometriosis sufferers with the knowledge and tools to take control of their health.

Looking ahead, the future of FemTech will be shaped by AI integration and personalized health solutions. Real-time, tailored support based on individual health data will become increasingly important. Holistic approaches that blend traditional and alternative medicine will gain traction, along with a growing focus on addressing healthcare disparities in underserved communities.

“FemTech isn’t just about technology—it’s advocacy, education, and systemic change. It’s about reclaiming autonomy over women’s health, long under-researched, underfunded, and overlooked.”

For those looking to enter the FemTech industry, Juliet’s advice is to be relentless in pursuing impact. The field is pioneering and disruptive, challenging long-standing systems. However, it is also deeply rewarding. Aspiring founders should seek mentorship, stay engaged with their community, and always prioritize the needs of their end users.

Juliet envisions a future where endometriosis and other chronic conditions receive the same urgency and attention as mainstream health issues. By demonstrating the tangible impact of Endo45, she hopes to set a new standard for integrating lived experience, technology, and science in healthcare. Her ultimate goal is to drive healthcare equity, ensuring that living well with endometriosis becomes an expectation rather than an exception.
